The Shipping/Receiving Associate for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for receiving, order picking and shipping functions accurately in a high-volume and fast-paced distribution operation.

This position is part of the Distribution Team located in Hialeah, Florida and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the the L&D team and report to the Distribution Supervisor responsible for Internal and External shipments. If you thrive in an amazing, multifunctional, fast paced, supporting role and want to work to build a world class L&D organization -read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Interact with internal customers.
  • Work with freight forwarders partner to achieve on time deliveries.
  • Report daily metrics and be responsible for achieving them.
  • Work with cross functional teams on logistics and distribution (L&D) projects.
  • Work with a team of associates driven to maintain on time delivery at 99%.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior inventory control experience- pick/pack and shipping
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work overtime as scheduled.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Computer experience using Oracle and Microsoft applications a plus
  • Powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, and/or reach trucks.
  • Experience in medical device industry
