In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Authors method development and validation protocols and reports and SOPs and analysis workbooks for us in product QC after transfer; reviews and provides feedback to peers and associates still developing in-depth technical skills independently design, execute, and or oversee execution of method development and process improvements under GLP to be implemented in a production QC department; this includes researching and selecting potential methods, authoring, reviewing and approving method development and validation protocols, design transfer plans, reports, associated SOPs and analysis workbooks and associated laboratory notebooks.
- Provide recommendations for QC method application based upon business and user needs.
- Act as a Core or Extended Team Member, as assigned; responsible for on-time delivery of project tasks and escalating issues to Team Lead and/or Management and developing and executing method transfer of new QC processes or improvements to existing QC processes through implementation into production QC group with minimal assistance.
- Perform, analyze and interpret QC and experimental data and provide recommendations of action to Team Lead and/or Management for review/action as part of development activities and supporting quality events, as assigned, such as non-conformances, deviations etc.
- Independently execute wet-bench experiments relating to development, improvement and optimization of analytical and functional QC testing under GLP; support design of experiments and study powering, may require support based upon complexity tasks. associated with method characterization, validation plans and quality events such as non-conformances and deviations, execute method transfer activities, and assist in data analysis.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in science related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of of lab experience required, including relevant QC techniques (PCR, qPCR, NGS, HPLC, GC, CE, ESI).
- Experience working in a regulated environment which is governed by a formal Quality Management System utilizing pipettes and other tools that require manual dexterity.
- Demonstrated experience in written and verbal communication, using Microsoft Office tools, to a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience with statistical analysis and experimental design (JMP, SAS, R, DOE, etc.).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- The use pf VBA cpde om Exce;.
- The utilization of detailed and methodical problem-solving techniques to solve complex problems.
- Working independently and within a team environment to meet aggressive timelines in method development and problem solving activities.

The salary range for this role is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
