The Danaher Business System (DBS) and Process Excellence leader is responsible promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) and drive process excellence with the commercial operations teams (customer service, supply chain, master data) at Pall in Malaysia to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets and to simplify, leverage, and scale the teams global processes. The DBS and Process Excellence Leader will focus on operational execution by partnering with local teams and ComOps Leader with an emphasis on the fundamental and lean tools. The DBSL will also focus on facilitation and installation of standard work and best practices across commercial operations functions.

This position is part of the Commercial Operations Organization and will be located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the creation, improvement, and deployment of the continuous improvement processes, best practices, and tools such as:
    • Transactional Process Improvement
    • Value Stream Mapping
    • Daily Management
  • Drive process standardization across regions within each function (ex. Customer service, supply chain, etc.) and train associates on new processes.
  • Drive improvement using the identified tools above through monthly PSP and Kaizen work. Work with leadership to drive/maintain installation and sustainment of results from the use of the processes and tools.
  • Schedule, charter, and facilitate kaizen events. Ensure effective sustainment of results and support problem solving as needed to close gaps to targets.
  • Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching. Augment with other sources of training and coaching (Pall DBSO, DHR DBSO, outside sources). Improve DBS training and facilitation by pursuing certification in DBS tools for yourself and others.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in customer service, supply chain, process improvement, business, or similar area of study.
  • Proven experience as a practitioner of continuous improvement with fundamental Lean concepts and applying and training those to the complex and fast paced global environment.
  • Followership, leadership, and stakeholder management: Proven experience influencing others and developing capabilities in others/teams especially in global environments, particularly in high growth markets.
  • Demonstrating strong conceptual thinking skills, quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong business acumen.
  • Flexibility in working hours to work with global teams and processes.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Previous experience in shared service center, process oriented or migration projects
  • SAP or other ERP experience and familiarity.
