The Operations Manager – SEA/HKTW for Leica Biosystems is responsible to lead the LBS commercial operations organization, including process design, optimizing the cross functional teamwork, implementing strategic improvements and development of the commercial team including strengthening of the SCM structure with an aim of increasing profitability by enhancing productivity and optimizing the cost expenditure.

This position is part of the SEA Commercial team located in SEA/HKTW and will be Onsite at our Singapore office.

You will be a part of the SEA/HKTW Commercial team and report to the General Manager who is responsible for driving our channel partners to achieve sales, profit initiatives, business goals and assigned revenue quota.If you thrive in a multifunctional, process oriented, fast paced, role and want to work to build a world-class Commercial organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive customer satisfaction by continuously improving On-Time-Delivery, seeking opportunity to shorten lead-time of goods supply.
  • Drive inventory reduction through control of GIT, manage & track Demo, plan Spare parts & FG, namely, in full scope of gross inventory.
  • Responsible for sales forecast to PSI conversion. Tracking order and sales execution progress, ensure it runs on schedule and plan.
  • Delivery, forwarder and warehouse management, including international and domestic with customs clearance procedure, and warehouse SLA and efficiency management.
  • To lead and support annual CPTK process, where applicable.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Any education background accepted
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Ops Management and at least 3 years in people management
  • Experience in supply chain management is a MUST and forecasting management experience is a plus.
  • SAP & SFDC experience is a MUST
  • Microsoft Office (excel, word, power point, access, Visio)

Travel Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – will be required to travel as and when needed within the region for at least 30% of the time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • BW (Business Warehouse) or any other database knowledge
  • Power BI and if you are Lean Certified
