We are currently seeking a Sales Representative who will be responsible for implementing the sales action plan and managing the sales effort to maximize the sales and profitability of Molecular Devices, and for achieving sales targets of the assigned territories through effective management of sales tools and strategy.

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets according to regional/project requirements
  • Prepare and share to sales manager by weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and forecast to make sure the sales performance is on the track
  • Actively develop instrument sales opportunities and complete corresponding sales targets
  • Excellent understanding of commercial initiatives and strategies, and maintain close collaboration with channel partners to fulfill the sales targets
  • Actively manage channel partners under the company's overall planning principle and maintain accurate customer database utilizing CRM

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Over 5 years working sales experience for life science industry, or relevant industry working experience with outstanding performance
  • Understanding of the sales process and channel partner management
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Molecular biology or related subject / Master’s degree Preferred
  • Preferred knowledge background related microplate reader or HCS(Imaging system)
  • Can communicate in English
  • Has foreign company working experience will be preferred
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills, can work with Word and Excel, has Salesforce.com Experience will be preferred

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with evidence of insurance/ insurability

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Drug Discovery, Cell Line Development will be preferred
