The Associate Technician Production Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for following established procedures for in vivo antibody production and animal care in a regulated laboratory environment.

This position is located in Maple Plain, MN and will be fully on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Animal Operations team and report to the Supervisor responsible for in vivo antibody production in a variety of large and small animal species. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Read, understand, and follow established work instructions and procedures with emphasis on quality and compliance with regulations (USDA, FDA, GMP, and ISO) and high animal welfare standards

  • Independently and as a team execute work regarding in vivo antibody production, including injections, venipuncture, and serum processing

  • Conduct quantification and pooling of animal serum in the laboratory in accordance with established procedures

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • AA Degree with 0-1 years of experience

  • Ability to work with a variety of animal species, including mice and large animals

  • Ability to frequently stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs; ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including outdoors and in an animal barn environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Regulated industry and/or animal laboratory environments (e.g. USDA, FDA, ISO)
