The Analyst - Transportation & Logistics for Leica Biosystems is responsible for the quality, performance and financial management of global transportation providers for Mammotome.

This position is part of the Global Logistics Organization located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will be on-site at our Mammotome Headquarters. Our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Address transportation and logistics issues: Collaborate with the team to identify and support the resolution of transportation and logistics challenges, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Monitor and report performance: Assist in generating performance and financial reports for all carrier partners, and monitor non-compliant spend to identify root causes and support countermeasures.
  • Streamline processes: Support the streamlining of invoice audit and payment processes, addressing systemic invoicing issues and implementing improvements.
  • Create and distribute routing guides: Assist in creating, updating, and distributing routing guides and shipping requirements for the organization.
  • Support special projects: Participate in and support special projects to enhance transportation and logistics operations and achieve operational savings.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Three years’ experience with carrier management, including parcel, truckload, and international airfreight.
  • Experience with freight payment and audit systems.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • ERP systems, specifically SAP.
  • Carrier bids generation and analysis.

Travel Requirements:

  • Local travel required between warehouse and corporate office.
  • Primary location will be corporate office and remote.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $75,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
