Title: Brand Manager (San Diego, CA)

Nature of Role: The Brand Manager at Nabsys will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing brand strategies that not only boost our market visibility, but also resonate with our core mission and values. This position entails comprehensive management of Nabsys' visual identity across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, public relations, and event coordination. We are seeking a candidate with a robust background in brand management and graphic design, with a preference for experience in the biotech or healthcare sectors. The ideal applicant will showcase a portfolio that reflects originality, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong grasp of design principles, especially within a high-tech or scientific framework. The Brand Manager will report to the Director of Marketing. This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a rapidly growing team dedicated to impacting ground-breaking change in the genomics space.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the creation and maintenance of Nabsys’ visual identity, ensuring all design elements align with the brand’s style guidelines and convey the company’s mission andvalues
  • Design and/or guide the development of digital assets such as website graphics, social media content, email graphics, promotional videos and online advertisements
  • Support management team and Nabsys KOL speakers in slide optimization and visual storytelling
  • Create and/or manage the production process of visually appealing print materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, and trade show graphics
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and external partners, to deliver cohesive design solutions that meet project goals
  • Liaises with external agencies on graphics and media development
  • Contributes to the long-term product and marketing strategy for the OhmX platform
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies; and applies best practices in design to enhance the effectiveness of visual communications

Requirements:

  • Expert in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Protoshop, InDesign, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail orients
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling through digital and print design
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
  • Extensive experience with video editing and motion graphics
  • Experience with web design and UI/UX principles is a plus
