The Associate Director, Launch Excellence will support the Launch Excellence team in developing and implementing Novartis launch excellence [BC1] [BS12] capabilities, processes and governance for new product launches. This individual will be an active partner in engaging with multiple collaborators across multiple functions to establish and embed robust, agile, and consistent practices to achieve launch excellence. Key business partners include the US Launch Excellence Team Directors, General Management teams across the Therapeutic Areas, product strategy teams, cross functional teams engaged in launch preparation and execution, the Global/International Launch Excellence team, among others.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Support implementation of a consistent and robust launch discipline, with supporting processes and governance structure, in close collaboration with key business partners and functions
-Build, prioritize, promote, implement key Launch Excellence initiatives to roll out innovative ways and implement change across US organization and in partnership with all relevant team members
-Work with members of the Launch Excellence team to ensure successful and timely launch process management and completion of launch readiness tasks (standardized approach across brands)
-Support Novartis US planning for Launch Readiness Reviews (LRR) and meetings for launch products and ensure alignment of LRR calendars with other key processes, in particular Integrated Product Strategy
-Collect launch lessons and standard methodologies in collaboration with launch teams; build up and curate central repository of institutional knowledge
-Identify, recruit and stand-up network of internal Novartis launch leaders and external launch authorities, to be engaged regularly and as needed to support launch efforts, promote new launch approaches and related initiatives
-Provide daily operational, business planning and critical communications to support the Directors of Launch Excellence and Operations; ad-hoc operational, business planning and critical communications support to the VP of Product Operations and Enterprise Strategy

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $166,400.00 and $249,600.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24 fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

This position will be located at the East Hanover site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require 0% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international). Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered.
