The position

DMS manages the global supply chain of high-quality moulded components, and our volumes and span of control are rapidly increasing. To support our current and future growth we are now looking for a business and commercially minded individual, responsible for overseeing the business & financial operations of our organization.

As Business Controller, your primary focus involves maintaining, developing, monitoring, and executing cost controls in close collaboration with your stakeholders. Another important part of your role will be building and developing dashboards using tools like Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, or other business intelligence solutions. These dashboards will monitor various performance metrics such as spare-part stock adherence, maintenance cost, technical escalations, OEE, scrap, and equipment overview.

Your other key tasks encompass:

  • Developing data architecture frameworks to ensure data integrity and quality
  • Driving the digitalization of our processes, which involves comprehending customer needs, collecting, and preparing large data sets, and conducting data analysis
  • Converting data into business insights and visualizations that enable us to make informed decisions and positively impact the performance of our global production network
  • Engaging with stakeholders to identify challenges, spot areas of innovation, and develop solutions using appropriate techniques
  • Supporting the organization with financial issues when we transfer assets between moulding sites and cost centers

Qualifications

To excel in this role, we imagine you:

  • Hold a master's degree in finance or its equivalent, coupled with a solid grasp of business controlling and finance principles
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of pertinent work experience in business controlling or other finance disciplines
  • Demonstrate solid expertise in integrating Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools into daily operations, preferably in a GMP-regulated setting
  • Showcase adept stakeholder management and effective communication abilities
  • Display proficiency in both written and verbal English

It would be considered an advantage if you are fluent in Danish.

As a person, you embody a proactive and service-oriented mindset, showcasing a can-do attitude. Your work style is characterized by structure, enabling you to navigate through a diverse stakeholder landscape. Vital to your professional arsenal are robust communication skills, relationship-building capabilities, and a keen analytical prowess coupled with sharp critical thinking – both for data and processes. Your methodical approach ensures you uphold a broad overview while meticulously paying attention to details. Fueled by self-motivation, you thrive on shouldering a high level of responsibility, effortlessly juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
