As the IT Manager you will be responsible for the IT Operational Readiness team. Today the team is working close with the project leadership team and soon will be entering IT Operations for our production facilities. The team is responsible for supporting and delivering IT-related project milestones and once we start operations, the team will ensure the management and delivery of various IT related activities for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) production, compliance, governance, safety, future quality, and regulatory requirements related to IT.
The main leadership tasks will be to:
- Set direction and develop the structure.
- Train and coach the team.
- Build strong relations with leaders across our organization.
- Support the team´s performance.
- Act as a role model and agent to ensure IT compliance, security and IT related audits.
You will be a part of the management team, supporting the whole plan and working particularly close to the Automation team. You should also have some IT technical understanding and LEAN mindset.
To succeed in this role, you have:
- An academical background in engineering, pharma, IT or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience or equivalent experience gained through complex project management.
- Work experience within IT.
- Fluent communications skills in English are required and Danish would be an asset.
It will be considered an advantage if you have experience within a GMP-regulated industry and technical experience in IT – both IT for project and operation.

About the Department
Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (API) organization is responsible for manufacturing insulin and Glucagon Like Peptide-1 (GLP-I) based products. You will be part of Purification Plant number 5 (PPV) one of the world’s largest Insulin API manufacturing facilities, currently on an advanced stage of construction and systems implementation. We handle purification of API. In addition, we execute large expansion projects building new and rebuilding existing production facilities. The PPV IT team is today part of the Business Support area within Operational Readiness organization in PPV.
