About the department

The GBS Consulting team is a high-impact internal management consulting team working on strategic initiatives of GBS management and the affiliates. Based at our headquarters in Denmark, this team provides a platform for high visibility and growth, offering a unique opportunity to work with senior management at Novo Nordisk.

Job Level-9

The position

As a Transition Lead at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for:

  • Transition management: Partner with key stakeholders and sponsors to ensure the successful setup of new GBS hubs and manage a team of project managers to deliver the transition of roles with appropriate governance mechanisms.
  • Designing of job descriptions, align on recruitment strategies, and create training plans for the roles identified in the feasibility report and ensure proactive identification and reporting of risks associated with the transition implementation.
  • Facilitate transition workshops to gain further insight and fine-tune solutions to meet stakeholders’ needs and Support change management initiatives and drive stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to track project progress and seek alignment on changes to project scope.
  • Account Management/Business Development: Work closely with Affiliate footprint expansion core team including CVP for GBS and Reach out to affiliate stakeholders with service offerings to move projects to GBS.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A post-graduate degree, preferably in management.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with significant experience from top-tier consultancies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading teams and scaling up based on business needs.
  • Exposure to project management tools and technologies, with strong program and project management skills.
  • The ability to engage with business unit leads and stakeholders and obtain buy-in for complex and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience in engaging and presenting to senior executives regularly.
  • Experience working with a GBS (even as a vendor) is an advantage.
