About the department

Global DD&IT India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global DD&IT in HQ. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 900+ employees till date. The main role of Global DD&IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.

Commercial DD&IT department is an integral part of the Global DD&IT Organization within GBS India and is responsible for delivering projects and managing systems for Sales, Marketing, Medical & Market Access teams. We drive projects, manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk.

The Position

As a Product Owner at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Define the product roadmap and prioritize the team backlog to align with program priorities.
  • Manage the HCP and HCP Portal+ (our internal website content management tool) solution for the APAC region, representing the product ownership and demand management.
  • Coordinate with APAC affiliates to understand issues and reasons impacting user adoption of system features and ensure stability and functionality of affiliates’ portals and manage relations with vendors.
  • Work closely with business MCE leads and owners to derive business value from features and support rollouts and migration plans.
  • Oversee initiatives impacting the ecosystem, find synergies, and prioritize according to business aspirations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Production Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the IT domain, with relevant 3+years into as product owner.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile tools such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP.
  • Stakeholder management: the ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, primarily customers, vendors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Certification as Product Owner ().Preferred
  • Good experience in stakeholder management primarily customers, vendors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Any previous/current experience in website content management and identity access management (nice to have)
