The Position

You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders within the global organisation. To address the increasing need for strong ethics and compliance you will be expected to help guide the global organisation and develop solutions to new and challenging issues in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.

The position will offer you a unique opportunity to obtain valuable insights into Novo Nordisk’s business and will give you exposure to a large part of the global organisation.

The scope of responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:

  • Drive development and implementation of the global Fill & Finish Expansions ethics & compliance program.

  • Provide advice, guidance, and training to the global organisation on ethics and compliance.

  • Draft and implement ethics and compliance requirements applicable to the global Fill & Finish Expansions organisation.

  • Drive and support reporting to senior management and our top governance board on ethics & compliance.

  • Develop proactive guidance, tools and best practice materials.

Qualifications

As an ideal candidate you have:

  • A Master’s degree in law or business law, and you are admitted to the bar.

  • Strong track record as an in-house counsel in a global company, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry, or from a law firm.

  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience with legal and compliance matters, and you understand the complex regulatory environment that a pharmaceutical company such as Novo Nordisk operates within.

  • Strong ethical mindset combined with a solid understanding of our business needs, which allows you to provide sound advice and find pragmatic solutions.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.


On a personal level, you enjoy working in cross-functional teams with many stakeholders, and you are experienced in navigating among different stakeholders across an organisation. You are proactive and have experience in driving global projects.

You present a “can-do” approach and results-oriented attitude, enabling you to establish strong professional relations internally and externally. You can communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner and thrive working both independently as well as in a team setting.

About the Department

Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established division within Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organization and oversees the largest investment portfolio within Novo Nordisk. The multi-billion portfolio is being governed via the central ‘Programme Office’, in which the finance department is anchored.

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality reporting to management and ensuring that business ethics standards are upheld within our fast-growing Fill & Finish organisation. You will report to the Fill & Finish Business Ethics and Compliance Lead and work closely with key stakeholders across the company to develop and implement policies and procedures that support Novo Nordisk’s core values and ethical standards.
