Are you an experienced and passionate people leader with a keen interest in Operational Excellence, LEAN leadership and strategy deployment? Would you like to play a key role in setting direction for a LEAN culture to support manufacturing excellence and the establishment and execution of a LEAN roadmap to support strategic and key deliverables in Aseptic Manufacturing site Gentofte?

If so, you could be our new Manager for LEAN & Operational Excellence.

The position
As a Manager, you will play a key role in our organization, leading your team in driving the LEAN strategy at the site. Our Operational Excellence and LEAN framework is called cLEAN Supply System (cSS), and you and your team will be responsible for implementing this initiative across the site. In this capacity, the Manager for LEAN & Operational Excellence supports various departments and collaborates with several functions both globally and locally. Therefore, you will ensure ongoing dialogue, collaboration, and strong business partnerships with all stakeholders to achieve alignment, anticipate, and mitigate potential challenges. In this role, you will report to the Director of Business Support.

The team consists of approx. 11 employees spanning from LEAN Project Managers, Analysts, LEAN coaches and Partners. The team is highly ambitious and diverse and are known to have a strong culture of respect, innovation and fun.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating, leading, and setting direction for your team members.

  • Drive cSS herein LEAN leadership coaching, optimization, strategy deployment across the site while also engaging with similar units across other sites to share best practises.

  • Building and maintaining strong collaboration with your stakeholders.

  • Ensuring that all activities of the team are continuously aligned with business needs and goals.

  • Applying a continuous improvement mindset to ensure that LEAN standards, production systems and digitalisation solutions are optimized to meet business needs.

Moreover, to truly understand what adds value and makes a difference for your key stakeholders, you and the team will spend most of your time on the shop floor at the factory, working closely with colleagues from production.

In collaboration with leaders across the site, you will be accountable for ensuring that all business areas are successfully able to work with cSS & LEAN Leadership. In addition, your LEAN team will be responsible for different improvement projects, LEAN training programs, and coaching at all levels.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

  • An academic degree within engineering, supply chain, or similar.

  • Leadership experience through direct line management and/ or leading project managers, combined with LEAN implementation, SixSigma and process improvement expertise.

  • Experience with strategy deployment, leadership coaching, change management and operational excellence is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of GMP is an advantage.

  • Fluency in English; Danish proficiency is an advantage.

You are systematic and a clear communicator and you thrive working autonomous whilst still in close collaboration with our partners. In busy periods, you can keep the overview and set direction through aligned priorities.

About the department
You will be a part of our Business Support department in Aseptic Manufacturing in Gentofte. As Business Support we support our manufacturing areas across Gentofte.

The co-teams in the department are responsible for Project Management of Investment Projects, Digitalisation, Manufacturing & Business Intelligence, Finance & Procurement, Training & Onboarding, Supply Chain & Production Planning, and Warehouse Operations.

In Business Support we use our varying experience to identify gaps and propose high-quality solutions which ensures continuous improvement and development of the processes and the organisation. As a team we prioritise time for sparring, knowledge sharing and are always willing to give each other a helping hand if needed.
