As part of our Market Access & Public Affairs team, you will report to the Market Access & Public Affairs Director and focus on public affairs initiatives related to obesity. The position
As a Senior Public Affairs Manager, you will hold key responsibilities for developing, implementing, and managing affiliate Public Affairs strategies for Diabetes and Obesity, including stakeholder mapping, strategic partnerships, generating evidence, monitoring and responding to local policies and regulations while protecting and enhancing the company’s reputation with relevant stakeholders. The role will also require travel abroad for 4-8 weeks per year.
- Create and execute affiliate Diabetes and Obesity Public Affairs plans based on local needs and strategic alignment with affiliate goals.
- Map and engage stakeholders, building partnerships focused on disease awareness, capacity building, and improving access to obesity care.
- Lead evidence generation initiatives, including focus groups, epidemiological studies, and health economics evaluations.
- Collaborate with key internal functions such as Business Unit, Clinical Medical Regulatory (CMR), Communications, and Business Development to align Public Affairs actions and tactics.
- Ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk principles and legal regulations, safeguarding confidential company and patient information,
Qualifications
- University degree (preferably in Public Health) or Business; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Deep understanding of Indonesia's healthcare and reimbursement system, with solid experience in pharmaceutical public or government affairs.
- Direct experience in at least two of the following areas: healthcare system, brand value communications, stakeholder engagement, public affairs insight & influence, customer insight gathering, customer value proposition tailoring and utilization.
- Strong strategic planning, execution skills, and experience in articulating complex issues persuasively to key decision-makers; demonstrated ability to assess complex issues and implement effective plans.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, delivering business objectives aligned with both internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated success in building relationships with healthcare decision-makers.
