The Position
As an IT Validation and Compliance Expert at Novo Nordisk, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and regulatory compliance of critical IT systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Participate in system releases while performing the validation responsible role.
- Ensure documentation and verification activities meet quality and compliance requirements as per company quality management system (QMS) procedures and regulatory guidelines with closely working with Quality Assurance team to fulfil overall quality assurance responsibilities.
- Ensure all work products assigned to compliance subject matter expert (SME) to specified requirements in content and form and approve deliverables in accordance with specific requirements.
- Ensure configuration documents are updated and participate in annual periodic reviews (user review report, configuration review report, IT periodic system evaluation) and represent the system during internal and external audits.
- Understand business complexities and different perspectives from a quality and compliance standpoint and participate in system operation and maintenance in IT System Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of IT or pharmaceutical experience with relevant 5+ years of system management experience.
- 5+ years of IT or pharmaceutical experience in IT validation.
- Strong understanding of validation and qualification strategy for GxP Computerised Systems, Computerised Equipment, Infrastructure.
- Demonstrate pro-activeness and ownership.
- Enhance team spirit and promote knowledge sharing.

The Digital, Data & IT India team is a group of 900+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bengaluru (Bangalore). Our department is responsible for managing IT, including System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management, and Vendor Management. We are an integral part of the DD&IT and support, operate, and further develop the portfolio of IT Systems used across departments in Novo Nordisk. With a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, we foster collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive innovation and deliver world-class IT solutions.
