The Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Associate Manager to join our PPV Business Support team. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for Training, Document Control, Health & Safety, and Quality across PPV. You will play a critical role in transitioning the department from project phase to daily operations, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization. Working at the intersection of PPV Business Support Manufacturing and the broader organization, this position offers you the chance to influence processes, people, and systems on a wide scale while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a diverse team, setting clear goals, ensuring team members have the right competencies, training plans, and development opportunities.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through change management, LEAN, and cLEAN leadership principles.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless integration, excellent stakeholder interaction, and alignment of strategies to achieve shared goals.
  • Ensure high performance in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environment, Health, and Safety by continuously improving processes, introducing new technologies, and adopting best practices to optimize operations.
  • Drive compliance with GMP standards and organizational policies to maintain operational excellence.
  • Oversee administrative and operational tasks, including HR system registrations, expense approvals in Concur, budget allocations, and overtime management.
  • Lead team recruitment, training, and performance development while implementing and approving initiatives across Novo Nordisk IT systems to align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you have:

  • A relevant educational background and/or significant experience in management and production.
  • Knowledge in training best practices, GMP, quality management, and LEAN methodologies.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to develop and coach team members.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in complex project environments, with a proactive approach to driving improvements and implementing innovative solutions.

About the department

You will join Purification Plant V (PPV) in Kalundborg, Denmark. We are approximately 250 colleagues as of now, working in several departments and teams to finalise the first process line, that will start up operation. We will produce the future products of Novo Nordisk, which play a significant role in Novo Nordisk’s social responsibility strategy. We deliver massive quantities to third world countries. We are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways by ensuring high quality API at a competitive cost for our patients.
