The position

As a Training Project Manager, your main responsibility is to drive projects where training and enhancement of human performance is a fundamental part of the solution. Our training projects tackle pressing, and strategically important business challenges related to expanding our production. Examples of projects we drive are establishing full training setups for several employee groups as part of expanding production areas (Capacity Expansion projects), standardizing training across different production areas or ensure training is adapted or adjusted as part of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&As).

Through successful project execution, you will support structured and fast competence development and high operational performance. The solutions you create will both help the business deliver quality products to our patients meeting the rapidly growing demand, and make the workday better, easier and simpler for our employees.

To succeed in the role, it will be necessary to:

  • Understand business challenges and identify training needs accordingly
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop the needed content
  • Manage implementation and anchor the training and performance support solutions across business areas
  • Drive, evaluate and anchor impact of the project deliveries, incl. increased human performance, decreased “time-to-perform” and elimination of waste/complexity

To understand what adds most value for our stakeholders, you will spend a lot of time on the shop floor. You can expect to move between several Danish Novo Nordisk locations as well as occasional travel to our locations abroad.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree, supplemented with an interest in education (workplace learning), training and/or learning & development, (occupational) psychology, behavioral economics combined with:

  • Excellent project management skills, which includes being able to establish project plans and execute projects from start to finish
  • Data driven approach to problem-solving, a structured approach to task management and a continuous improvement mindset (LEAN)
  • Relevant experience managing projects, preferably in a GxP (or other regulated) environment, learning and development (L&D) context is a big plus
  • You communicate effectively in English. Danish proficiency is an advantage

Additionally, experience working with training as part of expansion and/or Mergers & Acquisitions is an advantage and so is experience in applying instructional design e.g. ADDIE, 5Di, or similar and adult learning principles to create effective training solutions.

As a person we are looking for someone who is curious by nature and do not hesitate to reach out to others to get answers to your questions. It is natural for you to work independently as well as collaborate effectively when you manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization - from our colleagues working on the factory shopfloor to senior leaders in project steering groups. Finally, you are passionate, self-driven and thrive by making meaningful impact.

You will join the business area Training Partnering & Execution which is a part of Global People & Organisation in Novo Nordisk. Within this area you will be a part of a Training Project Management team consisting of highly skilled Project Managers who concern themselves as much with training effectiveness as with supporting strong daily performance amongst all employee groups and thereby eventually impact our bottom line and serve our patients.
