The position
As a Market Research Manager at Novo Nordisk, you are expected to work between 2:00PM IST to 10:30PM IST.

Market Research Management: Drive the preparation and delivery of high-quality qualitative and quantitative primary market research projects for key products, portfolios, and areas of interest for the US market.

Vendor Management: Responsible for vendor management, challenging them with methodology, cost, processes, etc., to improve market research project output.

Customer Insight Analyses: Deliver best-in-class customer insight analyses to support senior management in strategic and operational decision-making.

Internal Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, ensuring alignment and successful attainment of common targets.

Agency Partnership: Partner with MR agencies to review data, findings, and insights to create succinct, clear, and meaningful study reports and conclusions.

Efficiency and Compliance: Ensure efficiency and drive optimization of US market research project execution and ensure compliance on all aspects (sourcing, pharmacovigilance, documentation, and reporting).

Insight Storytelling: Gather and distil research reports into comprehensive insights stories for presentation to brand teams, US, and global leadership.

Presentation Development: Develop presentations with clear storylines, grounded on insights and holistic business concepts, delivering clear conclusions and recommendations.
Qualifications
To be our new Market Research Manager, you should have:

Education: Master’s degree in business, life sciences, pharmacy, engineering, natural sciences, etc.

Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in a primary market research function or as a management consultant in a client-facing capacity, with mandatory experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

International Experience: Required, either from working abroad or in close collaboration with colleagues based in different geographies.

Skills: Demonstrated experience delivering best-in-class strategic insights, identifying growth opportunities, solving complex problems, and driving decision-making using qualitative and quantitative insights.

Project and Stakeholder Management: Strong track record in a cross-functional setting.

Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of research designs, companies, and practices that drive best-in-class results.

Communication: Significant experience in professionally communicating scientific, medical, and commercial information to various organizational levels is an advantage.
About the department
The Commercial – GBS unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial – GBS. This includes Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning, and Commercial Operations. The department also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders.
