The position

As our new senior Health & Safety Partner, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses related to chemical processes, enzyme handling, and supplement the production. You will be developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures specific to chemistry, enzymes, and supplement processing.

Moreover, key Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety measures are integrated into all aspects of operations.
  • Providing training and guidance to personnel on safe chemical handling, enzyme usage, and supplement production protocols.
  • Keeping abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements to continuously improve safety standards in chemistry, enzymes, and supplement processing.
  • Developing safety data sheets (SDS) and material attributes (MA) documentation.
  • Reporting to authorities regarding chemical handling, enzyme usage and GMO use for example REACH related information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s in chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field is required with 5+ years’ experience with relevant work ideally from a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards pertaining to chemical, enzyme, and safety.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills within both Danish and English
  • Ability to negotiate the right solutions with our business needs, and an interest in both strategic and hands-on tasks.

About the department

You will be a part of the Sustainability Partnering department at NNPR with two teams: Environment team, Health & Safety team, and profession managers within project portfolio and sustainability/ESG Reporting. The Health & Safety team consists of 11 employees including you.
