The position
As a CVP Safety Partner in Corporate Facilities, you will be responsible for driving the agenda on safety matters and collaborating across an organisation of 300+ people and be the key safety advisor to management. You are responsible for ensuring that the current setup across the organisation meets both requirements and ambitions on H&S.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Set directions and deliver impactful results on safety providing advice and support to management
- Based on strategic direction, plan, drive, coordinate, and track safety changes and better practices across the business area
- Prepare data analyses, materials and presentations and report on safety status to management and other key stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with legislation and relevant requirements
- Ensure required safety processes are running and relevant SOPs are followed while managing processes to meet relevant standards, ensuring audit and inspection readiness
- Leading and training root-cause analysis efforts for high-priority cases across CVP area
You will coordinate and drive the implementation of initiatives within the safety strategy; therefore it is important that you demonstrate indirect leadership abilities, strong networking and political skills, and cross-organisational coordination to consult and advise senior management and H&S Coordinators in Corporate Facilities.
This position is based in our headquarter in Bagsvaerd, with potential travels to our other sites in DK.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have the following qualifications:
- Ideally relevant master’s degree and specific courses, along with minimum 4-5 years of professional experience as a Safety Partner/coordinator or professional in a large global organisation, preferably from facilities management, construction, Oil & Gas, drilling or aviation industry
- Cross-functional work experience within saferty or H&S, with exposure to close collaboration with senior leadership
- Familiarity with basic safety concepts, techniques and tools, as well as Lean methodologies and root root-cause analysis
- Ability to negotiate the right H&S solutions while balancing H&S response with other business needs, and an interest in both strategic and hands-on tasks
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and verbal and written communication skills in English
On a personal level, you have a proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented approach, combined with a systematic method for timely and professional execution. You possess the ability to drive tasks forward and ensure results. Additionally, you are analytical, organized, and have strong interpersonal skills and diplomatic approach, enabling you to build and maintain networks effectively.

Business Development & Support is part of Corporate Facilities with around 300 colleagues from countless professional fields make up Corporate Facilities, which is anchored in the area Finance, Legal and Global Solutions. We enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for physical infrastructures (campuses, real estate, utilities, workplaces), facility management services as well as security operations, while progressing a major project portfolio.
