The Position
As an Associate Manager, you will have direct management responsibility for a team of around 16 mechanics and the responsibility for ensuring stable operation of two conventional filling lines. The main tasks will be to:
• Lead and manage the maintenance team
• Ensure stable performance of our filling lines and set the direction for the team
• Work according to LEAN principles and ensure that these are part of our way of working i.e. drive systematic problem solving and ensure continuous improvement
• Foster a good working environment with focus on empowerment
• Encourage collaboration and sharing of knowledge across teams and departments.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Background within engineering, skilled worker (mechanical background) or similar
• Some years of experience in management, preferably from pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of GxP regulated production and ability to work under restrictive regulations
• Danish and English language proficiency
Moreover, you have strong analytical skills combined with a constructive approach to problem-solving and focus on finding sustainable solutions together with your colleagues. You listen respectfully, analyze problems concretely and in a holistic perspective, as well as create optimal solutions. About the Department
You will be part of Aseptic Manufacturing Bagsværd (AM BA), which is an aseptic production facility with approx. 800 employees producing diabetes and obesity products for patients around the world – both for market but also for clinical trials. The factory is wide-ranging and includes, among other things, washing and sterilization, formulation, filling, and inspection. The production is characterized by complex processes that require employees with high professionalism, great commitment, and a solution-oriented attitude.
The department, Line Filling Operations has approx. 160 employees. Our filling lines run 24-7, and our employees work on 3 shift rotation. You will be part of a leadership team of 8 leaders with different level of experience, 6 leaders have the responsibility for operation of the filling lines, and 2 leaders have the responsibility for the maintenance team. We work close together and support each other, but most importantly we have fun and value a good sense of humor.
