Are you an experienced leader with a passion for training? Would you like to play a crucial role in ensuring competency development across an area of 1300 employees? Are you motivated by continuously improving training processes? And are you ready to support training initiatives in a highly regulated environment? If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you at Novo Nordisk AMSAT (Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology). Join us as our new AMSAT Training Manager.

The Position
As Training Manager, you will lead a team of 14 highly skilled Training Project Managers, Training Supporters, and Training Coordinators who deliver high-quality training support to all departments in AMSAT.

The team’s key responsibilities include:

  • Creating business impact by developing standardised training solutions in full alignment with the corporate training approach.
  • Ensuring world-class training administration as well as a high level of compliance and inspection readiness in our training systems.

AMSAT Training works to decrease time-to-skill for new employees, ensure that training is standardised and shared across departments, reduce training-related deviations, and upskill key target groups to increase training maturity across the organisation. We focus on both GMP-regulated training and more generic upskilling of all employees.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Lead the training team in alignment within the values of the Novo Nordisk Way.
  • Set clear and ambitious targets for short, medium, and long term, and drive performance to reach these targets.
  • Implement the NN corporate training strategy.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships in all departments and ensure they experience a high level of support.
  • Secure a solid balance between running and developing the business.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Have a passion for developing a great team with high engagement and performance.
  • Have 2-4 years of leadership experience, preferably within training or a GMP-regulated area.
  • Have solid experience in change and stakeholder management.
  • Can set direction, engage others, and prioritise according to strategic aspirations.
  • Hold a relevant degree within business administration, human resources, people or organisational development, learning science, psychology, or similar.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is a prerequisite.
  • Experience with GMP, LEAN, and driving projects in a large organisation is an advantage.

On a personal level, you value an inclusive working environment and have an appreciative leadership style based on respect. You have a natural talent for building a supportive environment where everyone works well together. With a strategic outlook, you can look at the broader picture, coach, and provide guidance to those you lead. In busy periods, you can keep the overview and set direction through aligned priorities, a systematic approach, and clear communication.

About The Department
Our training colleagues are centralised in AMSAT Training but implement initiatives together with our stakeholders in all departments. The training team is anchored in Business Support, and as AMSAT is growing, training and onboarding initiatives are well supported by the AMSAT Management. You will join a network of Training Managers across Aseptic Manufacturing working closely together to ensure aligned implementation of the corporate training process.
