The position

As a Project Manager, you will be part of medium to large projects. You will interact with line of business and all levels of management and work closely with external advisors and suppliers in bringing projects from idea to realisation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Direct project execution and monitor and control project work
  • Create and develop the project plan and establish the appropriate project governance together with the project owner
  • Negotiate project resources with LoB management and manage these resources during project execution
  • Report project performance to the relevant stakeholders and ensure compliance with NN Quality Management System and PS Environmental, Health, and Safety Management system
  • Perform integrated change control on the project, archive all key project data, and close and evaluate the project

You will report to the Senior Manager of the Project Management Office, where you will be joining a team of 7 highly skilled project- and portfolio managers. From the PMO we execute medium to large projects at our API Production sites.

We lead projects within building and facility, Compliance and capacity expansion, Environment, Health, and Safety. Our base is in Gentofte, but we are working across our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg. We work closely together with both managers and project managers at the sites. You will therefore need to be flexible in terms of visiting and executing projects on all sites.

Qualifications

To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

  • A BSc or MSc degree related to Life Science, Engineering or Business Administration
  • Some experience in driving complex investment projects in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience in working cross functionally and building relations with stakeholders and steering groups at different organizational levels
  • Certification within project management (e.g., IPMA, PMP or PRINCE2) is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, preferably also in Danish

As a person, you excel in managing multiple complex processes simultaneously and enjoy creating an overview and having a structured approach in all your work. You are good at building relations and can get commitment from stakeholders at all levels.

You are proactive in your daily work and able to manage your own time. You work independently, like taking responsibility and enjoy a dynamic and ambitious environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities.

API M4 (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Manufacturing 4) is part of Product Supply, Quality & IT. At our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg, we are more than 600 colleagues working together to manufacture the API used in life-saving medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced chemical and biotechnological processes such as cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We bring value to our patients by providing the cleanest possible high-quality API made in accordance with GMP while constantly optimizing our processes.
