About the department

Digital, Data & IT - Product Supply GBS is the unit responsible for many global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale across business areas and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as manufacturing and supply chain etc.

The position
As a Business Analyst II - SAP PP/QM at Novo Nordisk, you will drive SAP PP/QM in implementation and support projects. Your other key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage master data including Bill of Materials, Work Centers/Resources, Routings/Recipe, Production Versions, Inspection Plan, Master Inspection, Characteristics, Catalogues, and Code Groups.
  • Configure and integrate Material Requirement Planning with Procurement, Sales and Distribution, and define new strategies.
  • Execute production orders including order confirmation, goods issue, goods receipt, and back flushing.
  • Oversee quality management in procurement, production, in-process inspection, calibration, and sales.
  • Write functional specifications, coordinate with the ABAP team, and test new functionalities.
  • Understand financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available. Interface with clients to ensure successful project delivery.


Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field with at least 3+ years of experience in SAP PP/QM Implementation and Support Projects, with familiarity in GBT considered a plus.
  • Proficient in SDLC and agile methodologies, along with strong client interfacing abilities.
  • Understanding of financial processes across various project types, including familiarity with different pricing models.
  • Experience with S4 HANA/ECC is a plus, along with expertise in SAP PP-QM integration with third-party tools.
  • Proven ability in writing Functional Specifications, collaborating with ABAP teams, and conducting testing for new functionalities.
  • Hands-on experience with Master Data management, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Production Order Execution, and Quality Management processes.
  • Solid understanding of software configuration management systems.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and cross-industry leadership capabilities.
  • Up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
