The position
This position reports to the Business Unit Director, Obesity. In this role, you will develop the sales strategy and manage sales performance in defined area; coach and manage sales team to reach and exceed targets, as well as engage and build strong relationship with key stakeholders. The main scope of accountabilities includes but is not limited to:
- Managing and developing the sales team by recruiting, coaching, managing the energetic team. Ensure competitiveness and maximize the productivity. Assess direct report’s performance and provide constructive feedback continuously.
- Territory management; manage and secure product’s accessibility status in the hospital listing. Ensure optimum and well-balance of the team (area potential, opportunity, workload and target)
- Key customer engagement & key account management; develop stakeholder mapping, prioritization and communication plan, to ensure impactful engagement maintenance in alignment with the business priorities.
- Planning, organizing & coordination; develop, implement and ensure execution of sales plan based on and aligned with the marketing strategy. Propose the product promotion budget and manage it efficiently, ensuring effective resource allocation to maximise return on investment. Consistent and continuous collaboration and participation in cross-functional processes or projects.
- Work according to local law, code of practice, business ethics and company policy/guideline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or product management in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in cardiology and nephrology desirable.
- Deep knowledge of the current pharmaceutical/out-of-pocket/market situation.
- Thai native speaking is required with good communication in English, both written and spoken.
