The position
In this role, you will have a broad array of responsibilities, such as:
- Executing of the global risk reporting and management process
- Actively follow the developments on key risk mitigations across the value chain and communicate key updates to senior management
- Performing risk assessments and quantifications across the value chain
- Act as a sparring partner to stakeholders across the organisation
To accomplish these tasks, you will be required to develop a deep understanding of Novo Nordisk’s value chain and strategic priorities (e.g. value drivers). Furthermore, you will drive and contribute to other projects and processes outside of risk management where you will get to apply your strategic insights.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Master’s degree within business, economics, chemistry, supply chain, production, engineering or similar
- 2-3 years of working experience
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or enterprise risk management is considered an advantage but is not required
- Great communication skills and fluency in Englis h
On a personal level, you are comfortable working with a range of stakeholders and have a particular interest in learning and comprehending the business.
About the department
The Group Reporting & Insights team is accountable for the financial and risk management of Novo Nordisk, driving key decisions for Executive Management, the CFO and the SVP of Business Finance. As part of owning the global financial processes, the team is in charge of executing the risk reporting and management process and driving the overall enterprise risk management agenda in Novo Nordisk.
You will be part of an engaged team consisting of 8 employees in Denmark, supported by colleagues from Global Business Services in India. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through close sparring, frequent feedback and by giving interesting tasks.
