The position
As Senior Project Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to manage and execute key initiatives for our Cardiovascular and Emerging Therapy Areas (CETA) Medical and Marketing (M&M) organization. You will have visible position that will interface the International Operations M&M SVP, functional leads at a global, regional, and local level and will spar with cross-functional stakeholders at IO-SO level. For this reason, your ability to build successful partnerships with diverse, international stakeholders at all levels will be a key success factor in this position.
There will be breadth and variety in the type of projects which you will be responsible to manage, including strategy development, organisational change but also looking at performance measures and insights.
Your agility and ability to see the big picture, challenge the status quo and adapt the fast-pace and changing priorities will be critical.
Qualifications
- We are looking for a candidate who holds a master’s degree in Business or a Scientific field and has proven track record of interacting and influencing stakeholders at executive level in a cross-functional, international setting.
- You have direct experience managing a range of projects, including holding budget responsibility, working in collaboration with different functions.
- You have proven experience delivering business objectives in alignment with multiple internal and external stakeholders at senior level.
- Tight deadlines and changing priorities energise you and you quickly analyse complex situations, synthesise large amounts of information and succinctly articulate your thoughts.
- You are proactive, organised and a master with MS Office – especially PowerPoint – and are proficient with project and portfolio management methodologies.
- Prior experience in commercial units in the pharmaceutical industry or in a consultancy company working on pharma projects will be very beneficial for this position.

This position is sitting in CETA (Cardiovascular and Emerging Therapeutic Areas), M&M (Medical and Marketing) within International Operations Strategic Office (IO-SO), the strategic office for IO, and is reporting to the VP of the unit.
