The Position
As a Production Economy Specialist, you will be responsible for managing production accounting incl. SAP processes affecting the unit costs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Structure and manage processes around master data, ensuring accuracy and compliance incl. monitoring yield, BoM, potency, and weekly capacity, ensuring compliance within the SAP system.
- Facilitate and ensure House in Order for the organisation (API) in all financial tasks and coordination with our shared services in India to optimise finance processes, systems, and standards to the next level and set the scene for further analysis.
- Provide production cost analysis and decision support to relevant stakeholders incl. unit cost impacts.
- Involved in processes towards the improvement of Business Intelligence and big data to improve the production economy.

Qualifications
We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
- An academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SAP, particularly within production economy, master data, and bill of materials. Previous experience in allocations within SAP.
- Experience with production economy, including unit costs, inventory valuation, and standard cost variances.
- Experience with financial processes, including planning, reporting, and management, as well as broad business knowledge.
- Effective collaboration with senior stakeholders
- Optimisation mindset and competent at streamlining processes.
- Excellent English language capabilities.
As an individual, you possess strong communication skills across different levels of the organization. You ensure alignment during forecasting and planning processes and offer valuable business insights and essential knowledge for specific business cases and challenges. You are independent and detail-oriented, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset based on LEAN principles.
About the Department
API Manufacturing Finance supports our API production facilities with financial analysis and business insights. We transform financial data into managerial decisions. We contribute to a range of optimisation projects and secure financial house in order in PS API.
