The position

As a Project Manager in Digital Ethics and Compliance Operations, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Developing and driving the implementation of compliance projects
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the Third Party Representative system and due diligence process
  • Overseeing the development and day-to-day operations of IT solutions that support Compliance processes, such as the Compliance apps
  • Managing compliance operations projects on an ad hoc basis, ensuring effective project management, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement
  • Rectifying errors, enhancing user experience, and initiating innovative IT solutions to support compliance processes, ensuring high standards of compliance and operational excellence across the organization

To ensure high level results, it is important to comprehend the requirements from all stakeholders (including Line of Business) and be open and pragmatic with current and new processes/tasks.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you hold a Master of Science, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration or other relevant fields, and have a background in Project Management within legal or compliance and technology projects, with 3-5 years of working experience.

Other success criteria are:

  • Compliance expertise and ability to drive through executing, following up, and further developing key compliance projects
  • Strong stakeholder and change management skills
  • Training and people development knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
  • Business & industry awareness, including applying trends as appropriate to projects

You possess excellent stakeholder management skills, allowing you to effectively engage with all stakeholders while being open to input, as well as building and maintaining strategic relationships that are relevant to the project's success, and thereby strengthening Novo Nordisk’s position within compliance. Additionally, your analytical mindset enables you to identify potential improvements, and your awareness of cultural differences allows you to work effectively in international settings.

About the department

The Business Ethics Compliance Office (BECO) develops and drives the implementation of Novo Nordisk’s global business ethics strategy and compliance programme to prevent fraud, bribery, and off-label promotion. BECO manages the global systems and processes related to tracking of payments to healthcare professionals (HCPs). Furthermore, BECO is responsible for driving the global Data Protection strategy across Novo Nordisk.
