The Position
As the Manager for Operational Readiness, your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee operations and ensure operational readiness post-project phase.
- Influence and manage the freeze-drying project, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements.
- Manage interdependencies between project work packages.
- Plan project resources, including participation in the recruitment process of new employees; develop, coach, and manage the project team.
- Shape the operational strategy for the facility, and set the team to start operations.
- Lead the preparation of qualification and validation plans.
You will ensure the strategy for validation, control and maintenance, as well as plans for capacity & production.
Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
- A relevant academic degree in production, operations, or a related field.
- Some years of experience in managing pharmaceutical operations, with extensive experience in production, operations, or manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical validation processes.
- Ability to guide and develop a team.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
As a person, you are highly independent and you actively drive decision-making processes, even with senior stakeholders and project owners. You consistently stay on top of situations and project progress. You excel in managing change, engaging project teams, and collaborating across boundaries. You communicate frequently, timely, and in a structured manner, effectively conveying direction and project plans to teams and stakeholders. Your ability to network, collaborate, influence and work at a high professional level is crucial for success in this role.
About the Department
You can look forward to working within the M3 project, Novo Nordisk’s largest investment project to date. The project is located in Kalundborg, Denmark, where we design and build future API facilities as multi-product facilities. The M3 team is a diverse group of approximately 300 talented colleagues from over 30 different national backgrounds.
