Let’s talk about the role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team and drive deployments and prepare the definition of the product and deployment roadmap, in the Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Product Supply, Production Operational Technology department.
As a Product Owner at OT Enabler Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:
- Co-construct and prioritise product roadmaps, while effectively managing team backlog for OT products like Siemens UMC, Octoplant
- Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for OT products/technologies to support production at different sites, and prioritise requirements and backlog to support the team in delivering value
- Manage and engage with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners
- Control budget for different OT products/solutions for implementations and operations
- Collaborate with Business Owners and Product Manager to establish the product vision and drive its execution with the Agile Team
- Manage system configurations and maintenance activities, working closely with stakeholders to understand key drivers for deliveries and enable ongoing prioritisation
You will also have the chance to assess globalisation need of new OT products/solutions by collaboration with Business Owner, Product Manager and Line of Business.
Additionally, stakeholder management and collaboration are crucial, involving and representing the customer, engaging with stakeholders, and facilitating communication to ensure alignment on product vision and goals. The role’s focus is also set on managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and providing progress updates and feedback gathering.
Candidate profile
To succeed in this role, we imagine you have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, including experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical GxP area or any other regulated industry
- Familiarity with agile ways of working and Agile Methodology
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills and can engage in collaborative efforts within a global team, navigating diverse cultural backgrounds and time zones seamlessly
- Familiarity with product strategy development
As a person you have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment. You thrive working within an agile framework and in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Digital, Data & IT, Product Supply, Production is anchored within the Digital, Data & IT organisation and has approx. 4.000 employees based in Denmark, India, US, China, France, and Brazil. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business, ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support the Novo Nordisk production solution needs worldwide.
In Digital Data & IT, Product Supply, Production, OT Enabler Center of Excellence we are on the brink of a transformative journey towards being a Center of Excellence (CoE).
Our team is characterised by a trust-based environment, high skilled peers with a quality mindset.
The Operational Excellence Team is located in our newly renovated and established DD&IT campus in Ballerup (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark. The focus in the team is to be trusted partner to Line of Business and expansion programs for implementation and maintenance of OT products. You will work with experienced Product Architect, Product Owner, Product Managers and OT analysts to achieve OTE CoE vision and strategy.
