The position
As a Product Portfolio Management Lead at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Serve as the anchor point and one-point-of-entry in GSOD and SS IMS for PS/CMC (including LCM) Core Teams and relevant sub-Working Groups for Semaglutide and other products.
- Lead MSS (Manufacturing and Supply Strategy) development activities.
- Continuously streamline and recalibrate ways of working with stakeholders within and outside of GSOD and SS IMS to ensure appropriate contribution to PS/CMC (including LCM) core teams’ work within the context of organisational changes with a portfolio perspective.
- Comply with internal policies, procedures, and instructions as well as external regulations and laws.
- Participate in the continuous development of Strategic Sourcing – our processes, systems, and best practices.
- Actively lead the development of best practices and share these across the sourcing processes and categories.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
- Hold a master’s degree Business Administration or MBA in Supply Chain Management, business, or engineering.
- Have preferably 6 years of experience from working with strategic sourcing and a corresponding track record at a large international company/organisation.
- Demonstrate professional proficiency in English.
- Have Experience in supply chain and direct procurement.
- Possess strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data, identify and address issues and risks promptly.
- Apply critical thinking to solve complex problems and make data-driven recommendations.
- Exhibit excellent stakeholder management skills.

About the department
You will join the PPM team in the Alliance, Acquisitions and Pipeline Portfolio Management (AAPPM) department. Our team is responsible for drawing and maintaining the External Supply part of the MSS (manufacturing and supply strategy) document, which provides the organization with direction and guidance for how we wish to manufacture and supply Novo Nordisk finished products, ensuring long-term strategic supply robustness. Furthermore the team serves as a representative for our strategic sourcing departments into the product portfolios, to ensure timely Category Management involvement into product development projects. We work with a broad range of stakeholders across Product Supply, and take pride in connecting External Supply with some of our most strategic development projects, ensuring timely sourcing decisions and value creation and continuous security of supply.
