The position

As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will:

• Ensure compliance with SAHPRA (South African Health Products Regulatory Authority) and Pharmacy Council requirements and co-ordinate with GBS (Global Business Services) for timely uploading of local procedures into QualityDocs.
• Support product release processes and prepare batch release documentation and perform annual product quality reviews and report significant trends.
• Manage product quality complaints and recall handling and maintain good documentation practices and data integrity. Collaborate with the affiliate to obtain inputs for the annual Quality Management Review
• Handle invoice processing and follow-up on payments and support deviation and change control processes and serve as a backup for submission of exemption for post import testing to the health authority
• Conduct supplier audits according to an approved supplier audit schedule and support quality performance initiatives .Serve as a backup for release of product to the marke and support training for induction of new employees on Novo Nordisk QMS, support the timely deployment of training for the affiliate

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Pharmacist degree and a registered pharmacist in South Africa, also the following qualifications:

• Experience in quality assurance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry between 3 to 5 years
• Strong understanding of SAHPRA and Pharmacy Council regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Familiarity with auditing and supplier quality management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
