The Position
As a Senior Validation Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving global validation efforts for critical improvement and innovation projects across both new and existing production facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring successful project outcomes, from concept through to implementation, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and global manufacturing sites.
The main tasks will be to:
• validate new solutions,
• establish key documentation,
• overseeing testing processes to ensure our production systems remain of the highest quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
To succeed int this role, you have:
• An academic degree in engineering, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Process or Validation Professional/Engineer within a cGMP environment, with a preference for experience in aseptic manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of the science and technical aspects of aseptic manufacturing processes.
• An innovative mindset and a focus on Lean principles.
• Professional proficiency in English.

About the Department
At Novo Nordisk, we are driving innovation and developing cutting-edge technologies to shape the future of Aseptic Manufacturing. Our mission is to scale production capabilities to serve more patients through a compliant, efficient, and technology-driven network.
We are responsible for the development of equipment and systems, from ideation to the first successful pilot implementation. Our expertise spans aseptic manufacturing processes, mechanical design, automation, robotics, modeling, simulation, and equipment validation. We manage both a Development Test Center in Kalundborg and an Innovation Lab in Bagsværd.
Our dynamic team consists of approximately 50 employees, along with students and consultants. We are a diverse, engaged, and international group working primarily from our offices in Bagsværd, Gentofte, and Kalundborg.
