The Position
As Senior Environmental Supporter you will play a key role in supporting the project and Site Ti Environment & Energy Partner on environmental matters, such as environmental screenings, compliance applications, ESG reporting etc. Your days will encompass a wide spectrum of administrative work and hands-on construction site tasks.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Collect, and report environmental & energy data.
- Support to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, ISO14001 (environmental management system) and ISO50001 (energy management system).
- Collaborate, guide, and support colleagues and external consultants regarding environmental aspects.
- Support process for identifying environmental optimisation projects, and follow up on agreed targets.
- Predictive modelling to predict future events or outcomes by analysing patterns in each set of input data
- Strive for continuous improvement in Novo Nordisk Environmental strategy "Circular for Zero".
You will be supporting coordinating the involvement and inclusion of relevant stakeholders in various areas within Novo Nordisk and actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, such as manufacturing, product supply, environment, risk management, etc.
You will be cooperating with colleagues from different cultures, different areas of expertise and at different organizational levels. Furthermore, there will be plenty of opportunities to take on new responsibilities, growth, and development.
Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our team if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree within Chemical Engineer, Environmental Engineer or other relevant education.
- Minimum 6-8 years expertise within one or more areas of environmental aspects in industries.
- Experience with legislative requirements, ISO 14001 & 50001 standard.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and can collaborate with different professionals across Novo Nordisk, including the central NN departments.
- Experience in construction project management would be considered as advantage.
As an ideal candidate for this role, you can communicate fluently in English and Danish, both in written and spoken form. You thrive in dynamic environments and have a track record of success in such settings. You are service minded, goal oriented and a strong team player who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors.
As a person you have strong analytical and statistical skills. You possess ability to negotiate the right solutions while balancing the response with business needs. Furthermore, you can prioritize between many important tasks. You set pride in providing excellent support to colleagues.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 28,500 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now.
