Owkin is seeking the best and brightest to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.

About the role:

We are looking for a 6-month intern to join our Talent team, to start between February and April.

As an integral member of the Talent team, you will be responsible for providing first class support and client service to Owkin’s hiring managers on all aspects of apprentice and intern hiring, from candidate attraction and talent acquisition through the full hiring process to successful conclusion. You’ll even become the first face to welcome many of our interns.

Your work will directly impact how we hire our next cohort of interns here Owkin. Bring your ideas! The Talent team will welcome suggestions for improvements, process changes and additional projects to add to our existing early talent programme.

Position is based in our Paris offices.

In particular, you will:

  • Be the go-to person for all early talent inquiries
  • Review and screen applications and invite candidates to assessment stages through our ATS Greenhouse
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments, making sure everything runs smoothly
  • Collaborate closely with our PeopleOps team to ensure Right to Work checks and contractual requirements align with our policies, while providing end-to-end support throughout the intern hiring process
  • Create and update job postings in our ATS and LinkedIn (and other jobboards identified)
  • Represent Owkin at recruitment events and actively contribute to planning and running engaging attraction initiatives with schools and universities, working closely with our Marketing team to attract top early talent
  • Support the rollout of intern and apprentice initiatives, with a focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding by working closely with IT, People, and Culture teams to ensure a great experience
  • Deliver ‘white-glove’ services for candidates attending interviews at the Owkin office in Paris
  • Keep track of key performance metrics and insights for interns and apprentices
  • Take care of all admin tasks related to Early Talent recruitment, keeping our ATS and trackers up to date

About you

Required qualifications / experience:

  • HR degree or previous experience in HR/Talent Acquisition
  • Excellent team player.
  • Passionate about delivering amazing candidate experiences through delivering professional interviews and exemplary follow up
  • Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Fluent in English
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Excellent administrative skills, to include good working knowledge of office systems such as Google, Slack, Notion
  • Flexible and change orientated
  • A visa valid for the duration of the internship
  • Have a “convention de stage”

Preferred qualifications/bonus:

  • French speaker
  • Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders across various scientific and business functions
