Revvity is looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer – Hybrid

Our Informatics R&D center in Granada is a Revvity Informatics core site in Visual Analytics, Data Science and Bioinformatics. We create software and solutions to help scientists make the next breakthrough discovery for a healthier world.

This role can be based at our offices in Armilla (Granada), Tres Cantos (Madrid) or home based in Spain.

Role Purpose

  • Work as a member of the scrum team including planning, estimating, and verifying user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform both guided and exploratory manual test executions following established processes
  • Assist in analysis and design, writing, executing and automating test cases for functional and/ or performance testing within the domain assigned.
  • Develop strong expertise in the assigned domain area.
  • Effectively communicate status, metrics, and issues on a regular basis
  • Understanding and complying of/ to Informatics practices.
  • Assist in creating test summary reports of high quality, written language and content.
  • Become a user expert on how our products work, gaining an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses; and championing customer issues in order to ensure they have a positive experience


Required skills:

  • Computer Science and/ or Science-based bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with one of automation tools like Selenium, Cypress or Playwright required.
  • 5+ years of experience qualifying high-volume, scalable enterprise software
  • Excellent experience working in an agile/scrum environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
  • Excellent understanding of Quality Assurance life cycle, methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent knowledge in test case management and bug tracking systems such as Jira, Zephyr.
  • Javascript development experience required
  • Experience with databases and data platforms
  • Experience with developing API test frameworks
  • Excellent experience in transforming manual test cases into automated test cases.
  • Experience in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking and reporting.
  • Knowledge and prior experience with BDD, Java and Typescript is a plus
  • Prior experience in the Chemistry/Biologics space a nice to have
  • Proficient English, written and verbal. Communication: Meetings, conference calls, and process documentation will require good verbal and written communication skills in English. Capability to prepare and conduct lectures and/or presentations to a diversified audience.
