Job Description

We are looking for Finance Manager to partner with our business including new contract evaluation, revenue and gross margin analysis and customer sales performance. This is a brilliant opportunity to provide expertise, leadership and the insight to support strategic business planning, budgeting & forecasting!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for timely posting of key month end tasks
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis within the Blackline reconciliation system
  • Maintaining lease schedules in accordance with IFRS 16 lease accounting and preparing month end / quarterly journals on existing and new leases
  • Preparing journals for building cost allocations and rent accrual
  • Posting of monthly subsidiary transactions for buy/sell entities as required
  • Posting and reviewing of intercompany monthly reporting packs prepared by local accountants of overseas subsidiaries
  • Calculating transfer pricing for subsidiaries to support intercompany invoicing
  • Support annual statutory audit for APAC entities
  • Posting of payroll transactions for global subsidiaries, reviewing to budget and headcount reconciliations
  • Managing research agreements and licences financial reporting, accruals and prepayments and acting as key liaison between finance and IP teams
  • Liaising with Finance Business Partners to ensure that accruals and prepayments are posted as required
  • Financial management of the global credit card travel scheme including reconciling expense transactions within the financial system and reporting of aged spend to business leaders
  • Providing financial analysis to support the Group Financial Reporting team including monthly cost centre reviews
  • Supporting the preparation of interim accounts and annual financial statements
  • Providing support and analysis for both external and internal audit purposes
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of SOPs as required across the team
  • Working with other teams within Finance as required to improve the financial reporting data e.g. FP&A, tax, AP, AR
  • Other duties as required from time to time

What We're Looking For…

  • We would like you to be a part qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with financial reporting experience including month end reporting processes
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of financial systems and the ability to develop.
  • A can do attitude and a proactive approach to solving problems individually and as key member of the Finance function.
  • Excellent self & team organisation and project management skills to be able to work with colleagues across the business and provide support to team
  • A collaborative individual who is happy to undertake a task regardless of the team hierarchy
