Job Description Summary

The CMMS Administrator is responsible for the effective execution of all maintenance work control processes and the administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The Administrator is responsible for the asset management and CMMS lifecycle process. In addition, the CMMS Administrator works with area managers to ensure departmental compliance to company policies, SOPs, and other quality management systems as required.

All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the equipment turnover packages and equipment history files.
  • Complete and review work orders as required.
  • Generate required KPI reports and queries to support the compliancy of the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits and incidents related to equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Create, edit, and archive maintenance and calibration work order events, work plans, and schedules.
  • Assist with the CMMS spare parts data entry and inventory.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration asset management process and procedures; create and assign new asset records, edit asset records, and retirement of asset records.
  • Monitor planned maintenance and calibration work order due dates to ensure compliancy is maintained for critical equipment and systems.
  • Review all work requests for approval ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance Management to revise SOPs and Forms.
  • Generate work forms and distribute them to the appropriate end user for completion.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Minimum 2 years Computerized Maintenance Management System Administrator experience.
  • BMARM-R4 experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years data management and documentation experience.
  • cGMP manufacturing experience preferred.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures and/or work instructions.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and calibration processes and procedures.

Skills & Abilities

  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Technical writing skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • On-site position.
