Job Description Summary
The Laboratory Technician, Formulation Development is responsible for receiving and checking raw materials, operating & cleaning laboratory equipment, and performing various production activities.Job Description
Operations:
- Daily calibration of instrument like pH meter, weighing balance etc.
- Co-ordinate with vendor and engineering team for break down maintenance and
- utilities requirement.
- Maintain all spares /change parts for all equipments.
- Operation of critical equipment e.g. Lyophilize, Autoclave, etc.
- To participate in IQ, OQ, PQ, FAT of equipments / instruments to be installed.
- Ensuring periodic product destruction by coordinating with formulation scientist.
Quality & Safety:
- Ensuring availability of logbooks as per requirement.
- Providing and ensuring work permit to any out sider person.
- Coordination with engineering team for periodic calibration of all sensors, gauges
- etc.
- Ensuring availability of stock of all safety apparels for team members.
Formulation Development:
- Assisting to scientist during batch manufacturing as per need.
- Ensuring of lab cleanliness and equipment readiness with the help of Casual worker.
Material Management:
- Material Code creation in COUPA for lab consumables.
- To raise indent, PR for equipment spare parts, various type accessories for labrequirements.
- To maintain the stock of utilities such as Nitrogen and other gases requirement the lab.
Education and Experience:
Diploma in Enginering with 5 To 10 years relevant experience
