Job Description

Are you an ambitious finance professional looking for a unique opportunity to work as a Sr Cost Analyst? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., a world-class company in the Finance/Insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team in Vilnius.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyses Company’s operations financial results, calculates Key Performance Indicators and reports to management and divisions.

  • Reconciles General ledger and Item ledger inventory;

  • Review and solve issues related with inventory reporting to General ledger;

  • Analyses manufacturing variances and absorption;

  • Report inventory in business management system HFM;

  • Analyses, comments and reports Company’s actual results and its discrepancies;

  • Implement and maintain data quality control. Periodically controls and analyses data accuracy;

  • Participates in projects in order to support operational finances;

  • Coordinates global cost roll and margin move processes and implements on Company’s level.

  • Coordinates and trains colleagues in terms of new SKUs cost calculation and efficient SKUs changes in E1 (Agile new SKU creation process from cost accounting perspective)

  • Provides operations and finance consultations for manufacturing teams;

  • Performs ad-hoc requests given by Company’s management and Group’s management;

  • Participates and implements business control and reporting systems in Company and if needed initiates changes.

Requirements:

  • University degree in finance, accounting or business administration;

  • Experience in accounting, finance analytics, management consultancy or similar;

  • Good financial knowledge including understanding revenue, cost and operations effects of different activities is highly meriting;

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ERP Enterprise1 or other IT tools to perform Business and Financial Control;

  • Excellent language skills in written and spoken Lithuanian and English;

  • Experience from the financial sector or IT sector would be a advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €41 300,00–€62 000,00.
