Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:
Primary Skilss
AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical
- Able to understand and modify CAD control panel layouts & electrical schematics from a redline & marked up previous revision.
- Able to understand and modify CAD P&ID’s, Network Architectures, I/O Lists & ModBus Segment Drawings from a redline & marked up previous revision.
- Able to create and design 2D layout of electrical wire harnesses or cable assemblies.
- Understanding of Power Distribution Systems for Low to Medium Voltage
- Understanding of E-Stop and Safety Circuitry
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Procedures & Practices
- Technical Writing
- Participate on project teams if necessary
- Able to review system designs and bills of materials in our Agile Product Lifecycle Management software (We can train to use this software).
- Rapidly identify problems and make corrections
- Work in cross-functional teams
Nice To Have Skill Sets:
- Solid Works
- Understanding of Environmental and Safety
- Understanding of Compliance Engineering such as
- Safety testing
- EMC testing
- Radio or wireless testing
- Protocol
- Human exposure to RF
- IP testing
- Material testing
- Shock and vibration testing
- Update designs and drawings to support customer configurable orders
- Independently troubleshoot electrical related manufacturing issues
- Undergraduate student completing an Engineering-related degree between December 2025 and June 2026.
- 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
- Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
- Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.00–$24.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
