This is an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world’s leader in serving science, as a Sr OEM Sales Representative in South Korea.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies that align with the global business unit's strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across South Korea.
  • Make sales visits to all organizational levels and functional areas where purchasing decisions are made.
  • Develop highly efficient account penetration strategies and identify new prospective customers.
  • Initiate and develop productive client relationships across multiple functions and levels.
  • Actively participate or lead cross-functional teams to complete client opportunities.
  • Develop pricing proposals for large, complex deals and negotiate other terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate technical support to determine client needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve problems.
  • Develop business plans and objectives across the product and technology portfolios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry or equivalent experience; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of business development experience in the life science or diagnostic industry.
  • Experience in negotiation of supply agreements and sales funnel management.
  • Advanced knowledge of molecular, cell, or protein biology.
  • Strong working knowledge of the sales process and forecast management.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property, patents, and contract law.
  • Familiarity with IVD or pharma regulations and manufacturing quality standards.

Working Conditions

  • Able to travel 50%.
