Job Description
Become a Sales Representative at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to our mission of helping our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You will work in a dynamic environment and play a crucial role in innovative solutions and groundbreaking research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet assigned revenue and profitability sales targets and expand business within assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain successful customer relations with purchasing and end users.
- Make decisions independently, use available resources, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to meet customer needs.
- Handle pricing within territory to control profitability.
- Maintain accurate reporting and records for proper management of territory.
- Connect with supervisor regarding any customer issues or potential problems and perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
- Inform customers of supply and price trends, assist in inventory control, and consult with customers.
- Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the sciences (Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field)
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry, or equivalent lab experience.
- Fully bilingual: French and English.
- Enthusiastic and driven with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects.
- Works exceptionally well in team environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications.
- Strong industry, clinical, and science background preferred.
- Able and willing to travel to customer locations (mostly Central and Eastern Montreal).
