Location/Division Specific Information
The QC Physiochemistry and Raw Materials team, located in Woolloongabba Brisbane, plays an integral role in the production and disposition of pharmaceuticals at our site.
About the Role:
The team are responsible for performing physio-chemistry analysis on various samples and co-ordinate the QC release. We are a quickly expanding site with ever growing opportunities. We believe our workforce are our greatest asset, and are passionate about nurturing and developing future talent.
What You'll Do:
- Involved in day to day lab running, including planning of activities and resources, execution of analysis (including but not limited to: FTIR, RAMAN, TOC, pH, Osmolality, Conductivity).
- Facilitate Raw Material testing/release in accordance to relevant Pharmacopoeia (BP, EP, JP, USP, etc).), Peer review and technical review of analyses for completeness and cGMP compliance.
Keys to Success:
Education:
- Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology, Chemistry, or closely related degree). Post Graduate qualifications – beneficial.
Experience:
- Min 1 yr industry experience
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical and/or pharmaceutical industry aligned to Analytical and Quality Control fields.
- Strong background in analytical theory and technical proficiency with laboratory analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledgeable in cGMP practices.
- Knowledgeable with various Physio-chemistry laboratory analyses, efficient sample workflows, in process controls and analytical testing, and area/equipment within the Quality Control Laboratories.
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic, frequently changing environment with a wide variety of people and perspectives.
- Capable of effectively communicating in multiple modalities (e.g. electronic, written, verbal, etc.)
