Join our dynamic, world-class team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Logistics Associate II! This outstanding opportunity allows you to assist in the global oversight of outsource kit vendors, ensuring flawless kit production and order fulfillment. Collaborate closely with other departments to deliver outstanding support and reliability to both external vendors and internal departments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate PPD Kit Production for both internal and external processes.
  • Maintain and update the global site list accurately.
  • Assign and update kit vendors on an order level as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate daily kit vendor performance.
  • Coordinate with Materials Management to ensure timely actions on custom reports.
  • Investigate and resolve kit vendor quality issues such as incorrect documents, order release failures, and discrepancies.
  • Manage the Kit Vendor SharePoint for document repository maintenance and study closeouts.
  • Support daily supply order management, including re-supply orders, queries, and system comments.
  • Communicate effectively with Project Management regarding delayed orders, material shortages, and backorders.
  • Attend weekly operational meetings with kit vendors to ensure continuous improvement and collaboration.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of two years of general logistics experience or equivalent experience with clinical trials.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and implement successful solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination between departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance monitoring.
