As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Business and Sales - and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. Internship Assignment Summary:

• Learns how to document work and Maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
• Learns to use, sets-up, maintains, operates and performs routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment. Including problem identification and resolution.
• Performs quality control review of data.
• Learns to plan signed workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.
• Assist in logging in and keeping track of standards, matrix, special reagents and study samples by electronic sample management system.
• performs routine instrument calibration and maintenance on general instruments
• Tracks the usage of lab consumables and orders them.
• Promotes a cohesive team environment.
• Learns to plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.
• Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
• Participates in client visits as needed, assists in communicating technical information.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives.
• Learn how to organize experiment document, and how archive the documents.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry or related scientific field
• Familiar with the use of standard laboratory equipment.
• Basic knowledge of computers and software programs.
