What You Will Achieve
Your expertise in the manufacturing domain will help Pfizer determine the manufacturing methods, procedures and tooling requirements. You will manage the manufacturing schedules to coordinate and expedite production workflows. Your engineering skills will help us design tools and plan production sequences. Your hands-on knowledge will help assemble component parts, completed units, including electronic, mechanical structural products and plastic part assembly. You will leverage your past knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures to change the characteristics of material by chemical means or by performing functions, such as heating/cooling, molding plastics, chemical processing etc.
As a Team lead, you will be involved in leading work teams within your division, including the technical and financial resources of the team. Thanks to your technical skills, you will coach your direct reports on day to day activities. You will be relied on to solve complex problems within your area of expertise.

How You Will Achieve It
- Manage multiple projects and work activities (timelines, work plans, deliverables) within the team.
- Drive increases in efficiency, optimizing solvent recovery.
- Deliver operational excellence in safety and excellent levels in housekeeping.
- Seek Solvent Recovery opportunities on the site and in other Pfizer locations.
- Ensure Effluent related deviations are investigated and resolved through robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Environment, Health & Safety to deliver on a compliant Planned and Preventative Maintenance program for Production Services.
- Identify energy and water reduction projects and liaise with engineering and area teams for implementation.
- Ensure current Good Manufacturing Practices standards are met.
- Maintain adequate inventory on materials and sterile items used in the area to meet production needs.
- Deliver effective documentation and up to date Standard Operating Procedures and trainings.
- Identify and make improvements to existing work processes.
- Share knowledge with others within team through existing knowledge sharing processes and systems.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience
- Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Thorough understanding of the internal core business process including relevant cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory aspects.
- Strong people management experience
- Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Computer literate, with skills in managing Excel spreadsheets
Nice-to-Have
- Master's degree
- Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
